Benton, Maine Goes Online with HometownUSA.com

A joint effort between The Town of Benton and A2Z Computing Services has begun with the publication of the town's Official Website at www.BentonMaine.com. This website is being developed to promote the community of Benton by allowing businesses, non-profits, schools, churches and residents to be listed within its pages. The goal and purpose of the website is not only to promote the community as a whole but to aid in local area economic enterprise by informing residents and visitors of local area happenings, businesses, facilities and services.

According to the Chairman of the Selectboard, Richard Lawrence: "We hope that as more and more people look to their computers for information they will be surprised and happy to find information about Benton on the web. We will try to provide current information about the Town, as well as history and historical views of Benton. Several townsfolk have already volunteered information and pictures which we hope to post soon on the website."

HometownUSA.com is a division of A2Z Computing Services, an Oakland business owned and operated by Matthew Hunt. A2Z Computing Services employs eight professionals and has been doing business in the Central Maine area since December of 1995. They offer a complete line of computer and Internet related services ranging from computer consulting to website design.
