What About Maine was looking for a new design to their site with added features and the ability to showcase their current publication each month. We are able to take their publication each month and turn it into an interactive feature where visitors are able to browse the magazine and answer the trivia questions right online.
Taste of Waterville is probably the largest attended event in the Central Maine Area, so when the Mid-Maine Chamber expressed interest in getting a newly designed site, we jumped at the chance! They needed a new fresh modern look, but a site that was easy to maintain, as until the event occurs in early August there are changes almost daily to the information on the site. We were able to accomplish everything they were looking for and more. Stop by and plan your trip to Waterville that first Wednesday of every August! Your taste buds will thank you!
Snow Pond Center for the Arts has been a client of ours for the past couple of years, but we didn't start with the development of new websites for them, instead we started off with the creation and configuration of a new registration system for them using the RegPacks platform. They had some very specific and complex requirements for their registration system which were able to make the new software do.... with some coaxing. Now that we've completed their registration system for several of their programs, we're starting to redesign their websites. The first one is https://snowpond.org and is their main website for the company. The site boasts high graphics, modern template and responsive design. Geared to enhance the branding of the Arts Center it is a multi-faceted site. Stop by and visit the site and see what fabulous events are coming up in our community!
Dangerously close to losing their site, we contacted Find-Your-Roots when we learned that their previous host was going out of business and needed to have their site and domain moved from their server. Their site at the time was quite out dated so it needed a total overhaul and the owner wanted to take advantage of some more advanced features such as mobile responsiveness, slideshow, search function and so on. Not sure how many times the owner has told me she loves her new site, but I'm confident she does!
Blistered Fingers Family Bluegrass Festivals and Band came to me through a referral of the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce and their Small Business Resource Team. Blistered Fingers has always maintained their own site but recently decided that it was time to have a new one designed that would be mobile friendly and would be capable of accepting online payments. Most importantly they wanted to continue to showcase the thousands of photos that they've taken at the festivals since beginning in 1991. They had talked to other web designers, who all said they shouldn't have that many photos on their website, but I was the first one who agreed that not only are they photos that portray their business, but also the culture and their family of bluegrass music lovers. This site features multiple slideshows and photo galleries.
Prime Fantasy Sports had spent three years and three attempts to find a web designer that was able to convert their old fantasy sport site into a new modern and mobile layout. We achieved this for them with many additional bells and whistles they weren't expecting. The challenging task on this site is that it is actually running two different database systems. The front or public area to the site is operated by one Content Management System (CMS) and the registered member section of the site is being operated by a preexisting database system specifically designed for him and his needs for the fantasy sports program. We needed to hand code hundreds of files to make the backend of the site match the front end.
When the Mid-Maine Chamber needed a website, Mid-Maine Bass Fishing, for the promotion of bass fishing in our region, they asked for a high graphic interactive site that could be used as a resource not only by anglers while they are sitting at the desk at home or work, but also when they are on the road or even in their boat. This site features photos, videos, blog, maps to boat landings, depth maps of lakes, events and more. Definitely the place to stop before hitting the water in Mid-Maine.
Mainely Escapes' Escape The Room adventure game is the most exciting new recreational activity to hit Central Maine in a long time. When they contacted us for web design and hosting, they needed excitement and suspense built into their website as well as an online booking engine and interactive features such as map & directions.
Aquarius Pools & Spas, Inc. of Winslow, Maine under new ownership was looking for web design and web hosting to bring their products and services to the online community through an interactive website featuring an online catalog, testimonials and photo gallery.
WRGY of Rangeley, Maine came to us as a referral from Rangeley Builders Supply. They needed web design and web hosting for a new website that could feature archived program recordings and provide information for potential underwriters all while maintaining a "Rangeley" look and feel. The resulting site provides several pages of archived audio files and links for your online radio listening pleasure as well as a live feed to their current programs.
The Great Cove Boat Club located in Elliot, Maine was looking for web design and web hosting for their club site that would take advantage of the more graphical elements available with today's technology. Also interested in the interactivity provided by the numerous extensions available with this CMS we created a site with an Event Calendar, Photo Gallery and member login for a Member's Only section.
The Specialists Guide Service of Jackman, Maine originally had a site by another web design and web host. We took it over for them and converted the site into a responsive mobile layout.
The Down East Yacht Club of Boothbay Harbor, Maine needed web design and web hosting for their new content management system site with a built in photo gallery, event calendar, event management and forum. The site also provides administrative support for their ever expanding membership database.
